Your strength training should support your running.

Most runners know they should strength train. The hard part is knowing what to do, how much to do, and how to fit it around everything else you're already training.

Build strength without turning the gym into another endurance workout.
Improve mobility, stability, and control where runners need it.
Adjust your training when life, racing, or your body gets in the way.

Kameron Harder running
Doctor of Physical Therapy

I'm Kameron.

I'm a physical therapist, strength coach, and runner. I built Ridge Athletics because I wanted runners to have access to strength training that actually makes sense for endurance athletes.

Instead of throwing a bunch of random exercises at you, everything is organized around the things runners actually need: strength, mobility, stability, power, and consistency.

My goal is simple: help you build a body that can handle the training you're asking it to do.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

No. A gym membership is recommended because most gyms have everything you need, but you can complete the program with access to weights, resistance bands, and a box or safe elevated surface.
That's okay. The program is structured around consistency, not perfection. If you miss a session, you can move it to another day or continue with the next workout.
The program is structured and delivered as a membership, with guidance from a physical therapist and the ability to ask questions and get help with modifications, but this is not a personalized program.
Yes. There is no long-term commitment, and you can cancel before the free trial ends without being charged.
You get structured strength workouts, mobility and stability work, exercise demonstrations, injury-prevention and rehab resources, race-specific modifications, app-based delivery, and access to a physical therapist for questions and guidance.
