Through the years, I've had the privilege of coaching some of the top athletes in trail and ultra running, cycling, ski mountaineering, and triathlon.
I know what it's like being in the trenches of training and competition, because just like you, I'm obsessed with endurance mountain sports.
I'm a registered sports dietitian, have a master's degree in public health, and a bachelor's in psychology. I started my sports nutrition career working with the student athletes at NAU, and have since coached athletes all over the world.
If I'm not ripping some singletrack or adventuring with my small family, I'm probably building something or dreaming of a bike I can't afford. Oh, and I don't really enjoy cooking and I'm on day 5,000 of eating the same oatmeal every morning.

I've been a physical therapist and strength coach for runners for the better part of 9 years. I've had the opportunity to help recreational, elite and professional runners rehab injuries and maximize their potential.
I've been running since 8th grade and continue to run (mainly trail) any distances that sound fun to me. In the last couple years, I've done everything from 1500m track races to 250 mile trail races. I enjoy mixing it up and sticking with what makes me feel excited to train.
I understand the physical demands running puts on the body and I work hard to make sure the athletes I work with are prepared to handle it.
Outside of running, I love skiing and adventuring with my wife, son, and doggo.
Many athletes will benefit from working with both a nutrition coach and a physical therapist to truly optimize their running performance. If you'd like to tackle both nutritional needs and physical ailments, you can use the link below to package your services at at discounted rate.

Dry needling is a technique used by physical therapists to improve tightness, reduce pain and promote healing and function. Its done by inserting small monofilament needles into the belly of a muscle, sometimes with the use of electrical stimulation, to create a physiological and neuromuscular response. Dry needling can improve painful symptoms within hours of the intervention.
Dry needling can be done 1-2 days prior to racing. Typically, dry needling causes soreness and tightness in the muscle lasting 12-24 hours but then resolves.
We would use our time together during an assessment to discuss current injuries and move through a full body assessment of strength, mobility, and stability to determine problem areas and develop as specific plan for you moving forward.
Other manual therapy services could include joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue scraping/massage, stretching, and taping
No. I will meet you where you’re currently at with your fueling. We’ll take into account your recent intakes and what you’ve been practicing to make the plan realistic for you.
Having a second set of eyes on your plan can help make sure you’re not missing anything. I’ve helped hundreds and hundreds of athletes make successful race plans. I know which questions to ask and what matters at the end of the day.
Fluid, carbs/other fuel, sodium, and caffeine needs. We’ll decide on appropriate average goals for each of those and then apply them to the race, taking into account estimated splits, aid station locations, and crew support.
Great! We can definitely still have a valuable session even if you’re not racing States. We can discuss your current intra training/racing needs and strategies, troubleshoot GI issues, and/or discuss your day-to-day nutrition and overall health.
